PETER S. GIAKOUMISPeter Giakoumis is an award-winning military writer, filmmaker, instructor, producer, & historical consultant for the 1912-1913 historical period and subject-matter expert. He is a producer, co-host, and writer at Interfleet Broadcasting, 2020-Present. He is also an author and researcher with extensive studies covering many periods of Greek history. He wrote his first book, The Forgotten Heroes of the Balkan Wars: Greek Americans and Philhellenes 1912-1913.

He has an extensive background as both a studio and field technician, with a strong focus on live television production across TV, film, and sports broadcasting. Throughout his career, George has freelanced for major sports teams and networks, including the Knicks, Nets, NY Liberty, Mets, Yankees, Rangers, Devils, and ESPN. He is currently a technician for CBS Sports and CBS News.
